A kettlebell is a cast-iron weight with a thick handle used to perform ballistic exercises that combine multiple aspects of training including cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. Kettlebells encourage smooth swing movements and other workout moves with a added level of safety and heightened core strengthening because the material is allowed to move freely inside the kettlebell.
I’m feelin’ lazy and the only prescription is more kettlebells!
Kettlebells, build strength and endurance focusing on the legs, lower back and shoulders. Basic kettlebell workouts include swinging, snatching and the movements which brings your entire body into a movement. This workout is not just strength training, it is partially aerobic and is a repetitive workout that works more specific muscles through more range of motion than dumbbells.
Kettlebell workouts improves strength, flexibility and balance. It also burns lots of calories due to the mix of aerobic properties and weight training.
