Trader Joe’s – Shrimp with Olive Oil Potatoes & Honey Glazed Carrots
Published on February 11th, 2013
Another weekly trip to Trader Joe’s and I stumbled upon their Argentina Uncooked Shrimp. YUMMY! I grabbed some potatoes and carrots to go along with my shrimp. I decided to keep it simple and pick up TJ’s cocktail sauce. Let me say, you will not be disappointed, it was delish. The shrimp came out restaurant style (even without doctoring it up) and the cocktail sauce was perfect for dipping!
TJ’s – Uncooked Shrimp
TJ’s – Potatoes (Your call, golden, red, rainbow)
TJ’s – Olive Oil
TJ’s – Carrots
TJ’s – Seafood Cocktail Sauce
HOW TO MAKE:
I threw the carrots and potatoes (cut in fourths) in the steamer first to get a head start for about 8-10 minutes. Shrimp cooks very fast so keep it until the second round of 8-10 minute steaming. Please remember to use two steam trays with shrimp on the bottom tray to cut down on food related illness. Once the potatoes are done place in bowl and add olive oil and a dash of sea salt, stir and serve. Next, cut carrots and put in another bowl. Pour a small amount of pure honey on carrots, toss and serve!
