Here is another great recipe from our friends at Petite Sous Chef Parties! This is such a easy, fast, and delish salad. Make it the main meal or serve as a side; either way you go it will be a delight!
TIP: Get the kids involved in mixing and adding ingredients! What a great way to start the nutrition discussion with our kiddos.
1⁄2 head iceberg lettuce
1 cup bean sprouts
1 cup shredded carrots
2 Tablespoons sesame seed oil
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons peanut butter or almond butter 1⁄4 cup crushed roasted & unsalted peanuts
2 teaspoons sugar
1. Cut lettuce into thin slices.
2. Toss lettuce, bean sprouts, and carrots in a large bowl.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together ingredients for dressings; let sit for 5 minutes to allow seasonings to blend. Add more soy sauce or sugar to adjust taste to your liking.
4. Toss dressing with salad & enjoy!
